I’m Janine. I’ve worked across multiple on-set roles, including 1st AD, DP, Camera Operator, 1st and 2nd AC, Script Supervisor, and Audio Mixer, giving me a well-rounded understanding of film production from pre-production through post. I hold an Associate’s Degree in Film from Utah Valley University, where I strengthened both my technical and creative skills, and I discovered a strong passion for audio and radio, especially in shaping sound to enhance storytelling. My Story
If there’s a camera rolling or music playing, I’m probably exactly where I’m meant to be. I fell in love with film because it captures the in-between moments, the glances, the silence, the chaos behind the scenes that somehow turns into magic on screen. Music sealed the deal for me; it’s the invisible force that makes a scene unforgettable (and the reason I care way too much about the perfect sound cue). I’ve always been drawn to storytelling, whether I’m building a shot, pulling focus, running a set, or dialing in clean audio that makes a performance hit just right. Film feeds my visual curiosity, and music feeds my soul; together, they’re my favorite kind of organized chaos. For me, it’s not just about making something look good; it’s about making people feel something.
